Day 1.

30 Day Photo Challenge commences……. NOW!!

haha here we go.
Day 1 - “A picture of yourself and 10 facts…”

1. I laugh…. A LOT… and loudly!

2. I am an only child.

3. I sing a lot, as well, but I most likely will not sing for you if you ask me to or put me on the spot.

4. I WILL live in New York City one day.

5. Tulips are my favorite flowers, hands down.

6. I think tigers are magnificent. They are definitely my favorite animals.

7. I grew up in Georgia for 12 years of my life, and when people ask me “Where are you from?” I always bring up that fact.

8. I have always wanted to learn how to play the bass guitar.

9. I like my steaks medium rare. The bloodier & juicier, the better!

10. I have a wonderful relationship with Jesus Christ, but I’m not perfect. I’m slowly coming to realize and embrace that God accepts me as His daughter even when I’m wrong or I do something bad. He still chooses to pursue ME.

Day 2.

“A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest.”

That’s my mommy. =]
I was thinking through all my friends and who I’m close to, yet no one compares.
Almost 20 years of my life, and she’s the one who’s helped me through so much.
It’s really not as cheesy as it sounds. :-P I love her!!

Day 3.

Photo Challenge
Day 3 - “A picture of the cast from your favorite show.”

If you know me, then you know that my favorite show of all time has been & will always be Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Don’t hate!

**Special thanks to Meagan Rowe for introducing me to this fantastic series way back in 7th grade. ;)**

Day 4.

Photo Challenge

Day 4 - “A photo of your night.”

(Taken with my webcam.)
Ummm… yeah. I have this 3-hour Macroeconomics course every Monday… what a joy in my life! (That’s sarcasm.)

Day 5.

Day 5 - “A picture of your favorite memory…”

I had to pick two pictures, but they’re both from the same trip….

Tribeca Summer Project 2010
The first picture was when my project family spent all day on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks together at the Hudson River. We were out from late morning until late-ish at night! We bonded a whole lot, and I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything!
The second picture was when a bunch of us girls woke up really early and tried to help Beth get on the Today show to get free tuition for her grad school. We matched with our project tshirts and our Brooklyn sunglasses. Stephanie Abrams filled in for Al Roker, who was on location, actually picked Beth to interview, and all of us got on tv with our signs! It was super fun helping her advertise. =]

Day 6.

Day 6 - “A picture of a person you would love to trade places with for a day…”

Honestly, I’d LOVE to trade places with The Donald or any of his children (Don Jr., Ivanka, or Eric)… but starting with the gorgeous Ivanka =]

Day 7.

Day 7 - “A picture of your childhood crush.”

Oh yeah. I had a crush on each one of these guys, and each were for a very different reason. hahahaha yay 90s!

Day 8.

Day 8 - “A picture that makes you laugh…”

This was from the first big snow of freshman year (Feb or March 2010?). My current roommate, Caroline, attacked me like 2 times that day… this would be the first time haha. That day was so much fun!

TAGS:   30 day picture challenge.   Day 8.   laugh.   roommate.   tackle.   snow.   snow day.   boots.   Freshman.   2010.   attack.   love.   upset.   funny.   roomie love.   best friends.
Day 9.

Day 9 — “A picture of the person that has gotten you through the most…”

You may say it’s cheesy, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. People are not perfect. People hurt me, anger me, sadden me, fail me. But Jesus Christ has been my Rock, literally. Through some of the toughest trials in my life, He’s proven steadfast and immovable yet merciful and openly ready to give me grace. He has most definitely “gotten me through the most.” He holds my life in His hands.

“When my heart was grieved
   and my spirit embittered,
I was senseless and ignorant;
   I was a brute beast before you.

 Yet I am always with you;
   you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
   and afterward you will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
   And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
   but God is the strength of my heart
   and my portion forever.

 Those who are far from you will perish;
   you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
   I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
   I will tell of all your deeds.”

— Psalm 73:21-28

Day 10.

Day 10 - “A picture of the person you do the oddest things with…”

Caitlin, Mary, Cole, Emily, me: I’m not even sure if an explanation is necessary here. We’re missing Caroline, but seriously…. some odd things have been done with these people, for sure!

Annaliese, me, Nate, Cole, Caroline, and in the back Mary-Beth and Matt. This was at Cru’s Fall retreat 2010. Some oddballs in here too! =]
